So as a book lover you can probably assume that I asked for some books from Santa. Since I have a giant stack of books to read I tried to limit myself to asking for a few only.
I asked for:
- Fire and Blood (George R.R Martin)
- Norse Mythology (Neil Gaiman)
- Mistborn Series (Brandon Sanderson)
Santa was kind to me and I ended up getting Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman, and an Imgur Secret Santa participant gave me the first three books of the Dragonriders of Pern Series.
I’m really excited to start reading them. I’ve wanted the Norse Mythology book for a long time and that will probably be the next book I read, Dragonriders may follow that, but we will see.
I figured since it was just Christmas, it would be a perfect time to share with you some of the books I got as gifts and announce the start of the On My Bookshelf Book Club, which will begin in February. It will serve as a platform for some good discussion in a monthly book club, as well as some updates on different events and other things as they come up!
