Usually my Thursday posts are the ones I like making the most, but with everything else in my life happening I just couldn’t find the time to make a post.
I’m a bit upset about it, but it seems like people like my Quote of the Day posts, so I wanted to make sure to get this one out for everyone to enjoy.
I just finished A Crown of Swords and have moved on to The Path of Daggers, which is breaking the usual cycle of reading a book between the Wheel of Time Books.
Hope you enjoy these quotes!!
“In a cruel land, you either learned to laugh at cruelty or spent your life weeping.”
― Robert Jordan, A Crown of Swords
“If you don’t know everything, you must go on with what you do know.”
― Robert Jordan, A Crown of Swords
“Life is a dream—that knows no shade.
Life is a dream—of pain and woe.
A dream from which—we pray to wake.
A dream from which—we wake and go.
Who would sleep—when the new dawn waits?
Who would sleep—when the sweet winds blow?
A dream must end—when the new day comes.
This dream from which—we wake and go.”
― Robert Jordan, A Crown of Swords
“Only a fool thinks a lion or a woman can truly be tamed.”
― Robert Jordan, A Crown of Swords
“A woman would do a thing until you were sure she always would, then do something else just to fuddle you.”
― Robert Jordan, A Crown of Swords
