Hello everyone (I
m trying to think of a snappy word to group everyone together as a fan base)! This week is all about different settings that Id like to see more often, but honestly I don`t really think of this often, so it might be tough for me to make a list of ten.
1. Mole World.
A sort of mole-people steampunk sort of underground world could be an interesting concept.
I don’t know why, but I’d love to see a story, or part of a story take place in some sort of void, nothing but complete nothingness could be kind of interesting I think.
I’d like to see a Borrower’s type situation where the story takes place in a miniaturized version of our world, or as small people in a bigger world.
4. Made Up Worlds
I’m always a sucker for a well-crafted world where we watch a great epic fantasy unfold.
5. Time Travelling
I think a good story of time travelling would be an interesting one. Jumping times and locations in history, chasing the bad guy. Could be an interesting sci-fi novel.
Imagine a crazy ass battle between good and evil, taking place on their home turfs. Could be pretty cool right?
7. Prehistoric Times
I think some caveman stories could be pretty cool. Have humans developed enough to understand the basics of fire and weapons or something, but not early enough that they are too advanced and start creating cities.
8. Medieval Europe
I`m always down for more history stories, so Medieval Europe would be the most ideal place for a story to take place.
9. Rural towns
I think it would be really cool to see some books taking place in small rural towns. Some big crazy event can happen there that the rest of the world wouldn`t know about.
10. Small towns in North America
Some books take place in New York City or Chicago, or any of the other dozen or so different big cities in North America, but I`d like to see one take place in a smaller city that still has a good size population.
