Do you prefer Bookstagram or Book Twitter? Share your social links
Though I enjoy my Bookstagram, I will admit I am not very good at keeping up with it…so I have to saw Book Twitter is my way to go. It’s a lot more fun and it feels a lot less “fake” than Bookstagram can.
Do you listen to music while reading? Or have you a favourite song that you associate with a particular book?
I do not. Though I could have music playing quietly in the background while I read, I generally prefer just quiet background noise.
What would you like to be remembered for?
A small part of me wants to be remembered by everyone. Have my name engraved in history, because I believe you only truly die when someone mutters your name for the last time. If I had to be remembered for something, I honestly don’t know what it would be for, because there isn’t much in my life that would make me memorable.
Who is your favourite musician/band/singer?
Tough question to answer, because I don’t really listen to one more than anyone else, but I would probably say Zach Brown Band
Who or what are you most grateful for in life?
The cheesy answers of course, my friends, family, and my girlfriend (who might read this post because she only reads the ones that mention her)
What is your favourite book to film adaptation?
I’d say Lord of the Rings…because DUH, but assuming that didn’t count I would go with Life of Pi. I haven’t finished the book yet, but I know the movie was absolutely stunning to look at.
What are your hopes for your blog in the next year?
I have a few goals for my blog this year. My biggest one is to keep growing and trying to reach more audiences, but a close second one is to collaborate with some awesome bloggers…maybe Kat???
You are going away on a relaxing holiday for a week. Where would you go and what five books would you bring with you to reread?
If I am picking a relaxing holiday, I’m choosing somewhere tropical and warm..ideally with a few ruins nearby for me to explore.
I think I would just bring whatever books I was reading at the time. I’ve never actually re-read a book before (though I will be re-reading HP this year I think). I’d probably bring a backup or two, but I read LONG fantasy books so I doubt I’d get through more than one or two.
It’s nice to be important but it’s important to be nice. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
Oh I can’t even begin to imagine. Off the top of my head probably everything my parents have done for me. Kinda cheesy and it’s sort of their job, but they’ve done a lot for me over the years.
How many books have you read so far this year?
Here are the questions I came up with…but please feel free to answer as you see fit.
Since these questions are originally from Emer, I was asked to tag her. Another wonderful blog you need to check out.
- What is a random fun fact about you?
- What’s a skill you want to learn, or get better at?
- If you could have any fellow blogger take over your blog for a week, who would it be and why?
- What is your favourite alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink?
- If there was an Olympics for everyday activities, what activity would you have a good chance at winning a medal in?
- What is your favourite board/tabletop game…and if you don’t play any then what was your favourite game as a kid?
- What is one conspiracy theory you just KNOW is true?
- What color is the money where you are from?
- Who is one blogger that has inspired you in some way?
- What is your favourite quote or saying?
Like I said…answer any or all of the above. If I am tagging you in this post, its because you have helped me in some way as a blogger, whether you know it or not, you or your blog have inspired my blog in some way.
